About the Institute

Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota is a joint venture of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, Rajasthan Government with Industries in Not for profit Public-Private Partnership (N-PPP) model. Institute has very supportive and active Industry partners namely, CAIRN India Ltd., VAKRANGI Software, GENPACT and NEI Ltd. 

IIIT Kota was established in the year 2013 and is mentored by MNIT Jaipur. The institute has shifted to its permanent campus in Kota. All the classes are being held in its permanent campus only. IIIT Kota has hostels for both boys and girls with mess facility. All other necessary facilities like medical are also provided.

Academic Structure

The institute offers Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) program in  the following three streams, 

1. Computer Science and Engineering (180 Seats)
2. Electronics and Communication Engineering (90 Seats)
3. Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering (60 Seats)

In general, the duration of B. Tech. program is 8-semesters (4-years). The institute also offers M.Tech and Ph.D. program.

Facilities

The institute has academic building for all academic and administrative works. Classes and labs are conducted in the academic building. Hostel facility for both boys and girls are there with mess facility. Institute provides its support for all other required facilities. The institute has library with sufficient number of books and book bank facility.

Location and Accessibility

IIIT Kota campus is 22 km far from Kota railway station. Limited public transport is available from the station to reach the campus. Auto/taxi can be hired to reach the campus from the station conveniently.
